Fresh green beans will wilt and spoil quickly at room temperature. For best quality and safety, store in the refrigerator.

Refrigerator

3-5 days

Store unwashed fresh Baguio beans in a plastic bag or perforated container in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator.

Freezer

10-12 months

For best quality, blanch Baguio beans for 3 minutes in boiling water, then immediately cool in ice water. Drain thoroughly, pat dry, and pack into freezer-safe bags or containers, removing as much air as possible.

  • Mold growth
  • Off-odor

40°F–140°F

Do not leave fresh Baguio beans at room temperature for more than 2 hours. If the ambient temperature is above 90°F (32°C), do not leave them out for more than 1 hour. Discard if left out longer than these recommended times.
