Cooked burecas with perishable fillings should not be left at room temperature for more than 2 hours. Refrigerate promptly after cooling to prevent bacterial growth.

Refrigerator

3-4 days

Store cooked burecas in a shallow airtight container or wrapped tightly in foil or plastic wrap. Reheat thoroughly to 165°F (74°C) before serving.

Freezer

2-3 months

Wrap individual cooked burecas tightly in plastic wrap, then in aluminum foil, or place in heavy-duty freezer bags or airtight containers. Thaw in the refrigerator before reheating.
