Opened canned tuna should be refrigerated immediately and not stored at room temperature. Unopened canned tuna can be stored in a cool, dry pantry for 2-5 years.

Freezer

2-3 months

Transfer opened tuna to an airtight freezer-safe container or heavy-duty freezer bag for best quality.

Room Temperature Safety
