Room Temperature Safety
Not applicable to unopened, shelf-stable conservation snacks. For any perishable components or after opening, the danger zone is 40°F–140°F (4°C–60°C).
Unopened, shelf-stable conservation snacks are designed to be safe at room temperature until their 'Best By' date. Once opened, if the snack contains perishable ingredients (e.g., dairy, fresh fruit), it should be treated as a perishable food and not left at room temperature for more than 2 hours (1 hour if above 90°F/32°C).
