Cooked chicken stuffing should not be stored at room temperature. Refrigerate promptly within 2 hours of cooking.

Store cooked chicken stuffing in shallow, airtight containers to ensure rapid cooling. Place in the refrigerator within 2 hours of cooking.
Freezer
2-3 months
For best quality, freeze cooked chicken stuffing in airtight freezer-safe containers or heavy-duty freezer bags. Thaw in the refrigerator before reheating.

Room Temperature Safety

Perishable foods like cooked chicken stuffing should not be left at room temperature for more than 2 hours. If the ambient temperature is above 90°F (32°C), food should not be left out for more than 1 hour, as bacteria multiply rapidly in the danger zone.
Safe Handling
Reheat all leftovers, including chicken stuffing, to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) as measured with a food thermometer.
Do not leave cooked chicken stuffing at room temperature for more than 2 hours. If the ambient temperature is above 90°F (32°C), do not leave it out for more than 1 hour.
Prevent cross-contamination by using separate cutting boards and utensils for raw ingredients and cooked foods. Wash hands thoroughly before and after handling food.
If stuffing was cooked inside a whole chicken, ensure the stuffing also reaches 165°F (74°C) before serving.
