Cooked potatoes should be refrigerated promptly. Do not store at room temperature for more than 2 hours.
Refrigerator
3-4 days
Store cooked potatoes in shallow, airtight containers to ensure rapid cooling and prevent bacterial growth. Refrigerate within 2 hours of cooking.
Freezer
10-12 months
Cool cooked potatoes completely before freezing. Store in freezer-safe bags or airtight containers. For best quality, use within the recommended timeframe.

Room Temperature Safety
40°F–140°F
Cooked potatoes should not be left at room temperature for more than 2 hours. If the ambient temperature is above 90°F (32°C), they should not be left out for more than 1 hour.
Safe Handling
Refrigerate cooked potatoes within 2 hours of cooking.
If reheating, ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Do not allow cooked potatoes to remain in the 'Danger Zone' (40°F–140°F) for more than 2 hours.
Avoid cross-contamination by using separate cutting boards and utensils for raw and cooked foods.
