Cool Whip is sold frozen and can be stored in its original container in the freezer. Once thawed, refreezing is not recommended as it may affect texture and quality.

Room Temperature Safety

Perishable foods should not be left at room temperature for more than 2 hours. If the ambient temperature is above 90°F (32°C), this time is reduced to 1 hour.

The 'Danger Zone' for food is between 40°F (4°C) and 140°F (60°C), where bacteria can multiply rapidly.

Thawed Cool Whip should be returned to the refrigerator promptly after serving. Discard any thawed Cool Whip left out for longer than the recommended time limits.
