Freezer

For best quality, wrap deli ham tightly in heavy-duty aluminum foil, plastic freezer wrap, or place in a heavy-duty freezer bag. Label with the date.

- Discoloration (e.g., greenish or grayish spots)

Room Temperature Safety
The 'Danger Zone' for bacterial growth is between 40°F (4°C) and 140°F (60°C).
Always refrigerate deli ham promptly. Discard any deli ham left in the danger zone for longer than the recommended time limits.
Safe Handling
Keep deli ham refrigerated at 40°F (4°C) or below until ready to use.
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after handling deli meats.
Use separate cutting boards and utensils for deli meats and other foods to prevent cross-contamination.
