Cooked sliced turkey is a perishable food and should not be stored at room temperature. It must be refrigerated promptly.

Store fresh sliced turkey in a shallow airtight container or tightly wrapped in plastic wrap or aluminum foil to prevent contamination and maintain quality. Keep at 40°F (4°C) or below.
Freezer

For best quality, wrap fresh sliced turkey tightly in heavy-duty aluminum foil, plastic freezer wrap, or place in freezer bags. Freeze in small portions to facilitate thawing. While safe indefinitely at 0°F (-18°C), quality may decline after 1-2 months.

Room Temperature Safety
40°F–140°F (4°C–60°C)
Perishable foods like fresh sliced turkey should not be left out at room temperature (between 40°F and 140°F) for more than 2 hours. If the ambient temperature is above 90°F (32°C), the food should not be left out for more than 1 hour.
Safe Handling
Always wash hands with soap and water before and after handling raw or cooked meat.
Prevent cross-contamination by keeping fresh sliced turkey separate from raw meats, poultry, and seafood. Use separate cutting boards and utensils.
Keep fresh sliced turkey refrigerated at 40°F (4°C) or below until ready to serve.
Thaw frozen sliced turkey in the refrigerator, in cold water (changing water every 30 minutes), or in the microwave. Never thaw at room temperature.
If using in a cooked dish, ensure the dish reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
