Refrigerator

3-4 days (after thawing)

Thaw frozen berries in the refrigerator. Once thawed, consume within 3-4 days. Do not refreeze thawed berries.

Freezer

Keep berries frozen solid at 0°F (-18°C) or below in original packaging or airtight containers to prevent freezer burn.

Room Temperature Safety

The 2-Hour Rule: Perishable foods, including thawed berries, should not be left at room temperature for more than 2 hours. If the ambient temperature is above 90°F (32°C), the limit is 1 hour.

The 'Danger Zone' for food is between 40°F (4°C) and 140°F (60°C), where bacteria can multiply rapidly.
