Frozen French fries must be kept frozen until ready to cook. Do not store at room temperature.

Refrigerator

3-4 days (if thawed in refrigerator and uncooked); 3-4 days (if cooked)

If frozen French fries thaw in the refrigerator, cook them within 3-4 days. Do not refreeze thawed fries. Store cooked French fries in an airtight container.

Freezer

6-8 months (for best quality); safe indefinitely at 0°F (-18°C)

Keep frozen at 0°F (-18°C) or below. For best quality, use within 6-8 months. Do not refreeze after thawing.

Signs of Spoilage

  • Off-odor (sour or unpleasant smell)
  • Mold growth (fuzzy spots of any color)
  • Slimy or sticky texture (for thawed or cooked fries)
  • Significant discoloration beyond normal browning

Room Temperature Safety

Perishable food should not be left out at room temperature for more than 2 hours. If the ambient temperature is above 90°F (32°C), the limit is 1 hour.
