Refrigerator

1-2 days (after thawing)

Thaw frozen fruit in the refrigerator. Once thawed, consume within 1-2 days. Do not refreeze thawed fruit.

Freezer

8-12 months

Keep at 0°F (-18°C) or below. Store in airtight containers or heavy-duty freezer bags to prevent freezer burn and maintain quality.

Signs of Spoilage

  • Mold growth
  • Off-odor or sour smell
  • Slimy or mushy texture (beyond normal thawing softness)
  • Significant discoloration

Room Temperature Safety

2-hour rule (1 hour if ambient temperature is above 90°F/32°C)
