Keep frozen until ready to use. Thawing at room temperature is not recommended for food safety.
Refrigerator

Once thawed, store the blend in a clean, airtight container in the refrigerator. Do not refreeze once thawed.
Freezer
8-12 months
Maintain a constant temperature of 0°F (-18°C) or below. Ensure original packaging is sealed or transfer to airtight freezer bags/containers to prevent freezer burn.
Signs of Spoilage
- Unusual or sour odor (after thawing)
- Mold growth (after thawing)
- Slimy or sticky texture (after thawing)
- Significant discoloration or freezer burn (excessive ice crystals, dry spots)
Room Temperature Safety
The 'Danger Zone' for bacterial growth is between 40°F (4°C) and 140°F (60°C).
If the frozen blend thaws and is left in the danger zone, harmful bacteria can multiply rapidly. Cook immediately if thawed and not refrigerated, or discard if left out too long.
Safe Handling
Cook thoroughly before eating. Most frozen vegetable blends can be cooked directly from frozen.
If thawing before cooking, thaw in the refrigerator, under cold running water, or in the microwave.
Do not refreeze thawed vegetables.
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after handling food.
Prevent cross-contamination by keeping raw vegetables separate from other foods, especially ready-to-eat items.
