Frozen pizza must be kept frozen until ready to cook. Do not store at room temperature.
Refrigerator
1-2 days (if thawed)
If thawed, cook within 1-2 days. Do not refreeze thawed pizza. Store in its original packaging or airtight container.
Freezer
3-4 months (for best quality); safe indefinitely at 0°F (-18°C)
Keep at 0°F (-18°C) or below. For best quality, consume within 3-4 months. Ensure packaging is sealed to prevent freezer burn.
Signs of Spoilage
- Significant freezer burn (though not a safety issue, it indicates quality degradation)
- Off-odor (if thawed and left out)
- Mold growth (if thawed and left out)
- Discoloration (if thawed and left out)
- Slimy or sticky texture (if thawed and left out)
Room Temperature Safety
40°F–140°F (4°C–60°C)
Do not leave frozen pizza at room temperature for more than 2 hours (1 hour if above 90°F / 32°C) before cooking or returning to the freezer. Thaw in the refrigerator, not on the counter.
Safe Handling
Always follow the cooking instructions on the package for safe preparation.
Cook to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) if the pizza contains meat, poultry, or eggs.
Ensure the crust is golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
Do not consume raw pizza dough.
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after handling raw frozen pizza.
