Store unwashed grape tomatoes in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator. Wash just before use.

Freezer

8-12 months

Wash and dry grape tomatoes. Freeze whole on a baking sheet until solid, then transfer to freezer bags or airtight containers. Note that texture will change significantly upon thawing, making them best for cooked dishes.

Signs of Spoilage

  • Mold growth
  • Soft, mushy spots or wrinkled skin
  • Leaking liquid
  • Off-odor (sour or fermented smell)
  • Discoloration

Room Temperature Safety
