Refrigerator

Store tightly covered in the refrigerator to prevent drying out and absorption of odors. Best consumed within the recommended timeframe.
Freezer
1-2 months
Wrap individual slices or the whole roll tightly in plastic wrap, then in aluminum foil or place in a heavy-duty freezer bag to prevent freezer burn. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
Signs of Spoilage
- Visible mold growth
- Sour or off odor
- Unusual discoloration
- Slimy or sticky texture on the surface
Room Temperature Safety
40°F–140°F
Perishable foods, including cream-filled pastries, should not be left at room temperature for more than 2 hours. If the ambient temperature is above 90°F (32°C), the limit is 1 hour. Promptly refrigerate or discard.
Safe Handling
Keep refrigerated at 40°F (4°C) or below.
Do not leave at room temperature for more than 2 hours (1 hour if the temperature is above 90°F/32°C).
Always use clean utensils when serving to prevent contamination.
Discard any portion that has been left in the danger zone for too long.
