Signs of Spoilage

  • Sour or off-odor
  • Visible mold growth
  • Discoloration (darkening or unusual hues)
  • Fermentation (bubbling or fizzy appearance)
  • Bulging or leaking packaging (for commercially sealed products)

Room Temperature Safety

Perishable foods, including mango pulp, should not be left at room temperature for more than 2 hours. If the ambient temperature is above 90°F (32°C), the limit is 1 hour.

The 'Danger Zone' for bacterial growth is between 40°F (4°C) and 140°F (60°C).

Promptly refrigerate or freeze mango pulp to keep it out of the danger zone and prevent the rapid growth of harmful bacteria.
