Cooked mashed potatoes are perishable and should not be stored at room temperature for extended periods.

Refrigerator

Store promptly in shallow, airtight containers to ensure rapid cooling. Place in the coldest part of the refrigerator.

Freezer

10-12 months

Freeze in airtight containers or heavy-duty freezer bags. For best quality, cool completely before freezing. Label with the date.

Room Temperature Safety
