Room Temperature Safety
The 'Danger Zone' for rapid bacterial growth is between 40°F (4°C) and 140°F (60°C).
Refrigerate matcha tiramisu promptly after preparation or serving. Discard any portion that has been left in the danger zone for longer than the recommended time.
Safe Handling
Always keep refrigerated at 40°F (4°C) or below.
Do not leave matcha tiramisu at room temperature for more than 2 hours (1 hour if the ambient temperature is above 90°F/32°C).
If homemade and made with raw eggs, ensure eggs are pasteurized or use an egg substitute to reduce the risk of Salmonella.
Practice good hygiene: wash hands, utensils, and surfaces before and after handling food to prevent cross-contamination.
