Store cooked mozzarella sticks in a shallow, airtight container. Refrigerate promptly within 2 hours of cooking.
Freezer
Up to 6 months
For best quality, consume within 1-2 months. Wrap tightly in heavy-duty foil or place in freezer bags to prevent freezer burn.
Signs of Spoilage

- Slimy or sticky texture
- Unusual discoloration
Room Temperature Safety
The 'Danger Zone' for bacterial growth is between 40°F (4°C) and 140°F (60°C).
Promptly refrigerate or freeze cooked mozzarella sticks to prevent bacterial growth. Discard any food left in the danger zone for too long.
Safe Handling
Reheat cooked mozzarella sticks to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Do not leave cooked mozzarella sticks at room temperature for more than 2 hours (1 hour if the ambient temperature is above 90°F/32°C).
