Keep tightly covered in its original container or an airtight container. Store in the coldest part of the refrigerator.
Freezer
Not recommended for quality, but safe indefinitely at 0°F (-18°C)
While safe indefinitely, freezing relish is not recommended due to changes in texture and flavor. If freezing, transfer to an airtight, freezer-safe container, leaving headspace.

Room Temperature Safety
40°F–140°F (4°C–60°C)
Refrigerate perishable foods promptly. Do not leave relish out at room temperature for more than 2 hours; if the ambient temperature is above 90°F (32°C), do not leave out for more than 1 hour.
Safe Handling
Always use clean utensils to scoop relish to prevent contamination.
