Store whole pomegranates in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight. Do not wash until ready to use.
Refrigerator
1-2 months
Store whole pomegranates in a plastic bag or wrapped loosely in the crisper drawer. Pomegranate arils (seeds) can be stored in an airtight container for 3-5 days.

Promptly refrigerate or freeze pomegranates and arils to keep them out of the danger zone. Discard any fruit that has been in the danger zone for too long.
Safe Handling
Wash whole pomegranates thoroughly under running water before cutting.
Use clean cutting boards and utensils to prevent cross-contamination.
Refrigerate cut pomegranates or separated arils promptly in an airtight container.
Discard any fruit left at room temperature for more than 2 hours (1 hour if above 90°F/32°C).
