Cooked ramen should not be stored at room temperature due to rapid bacterial growth.
Refrigerator
3-4 days
Store cooked ramen in shallow, airtight containers. Separate broth from noodles and toppings if possible for best quality.
Freezer
2-3 months (for best quality)
Store cooked ramen (especially broth and solid ingredients) in freezer-safe, airtight containers. Noodles may become mushy upon thawing. Thaw in the refrigerator.
Signs of Spoilage
- Sour or off odor
- Slimy texture
- Mold growth
- Unusual discoloration
Room Temperature Safety
The 'Danger Zone' for bacterial growth is between 40°F (4°C) and 140°F (60°C).
Promptly refrigerate or freeze cooked ramen to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria. Discard any ramen left in the danger zone for too long.
Safe Handling
Reheat all leftovers, including ramen, to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Bring broth to a rolling boil when reheating.
Cool cooked ramen rapidly by dividing large amounts into shallow containers before refrigerating.
Do not leave cooked ramen at room temperature for more than 2 hours (1 hour if the temperature is above 90°F/32°C).
