Cooked scallop potatoes contain perishable ingredients and should not be stored at room temperature for extended periods.
Refrigerator
3-4 days
Store cooked scallop potatoes in shallow, airtight containers to facilitate rapid cooling. Place in the refrigerator promptly after cooking.
Freezer
2-3 months
Freeze cooked scallop potatoes in airtight freezer-safe containers or heavy-duty freezer bags. Label with the date. Thaw in the refrigerator before reheating.

Room Temperature Safety
40°F–140°F
Perishable foods, including cooked scallop potatoes, should not be left at temperatures between 40°F (4°C) and 140°F (60°C) for more than 2 hours. If the temperature is above 90°F (32°C), the limit is 1 hour.
Safe Handling
Reheat cooked scallop potatoes to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Do not leave cooked scallop potatoes at room temperature for more than 2 hours. If the ambient temperature is above 90°F (32°C), do not leave out for more than 1 hour.
Prevent cross-contamination by using separate utensils and cutting boards for raw ingredients and cooked foods.
