If rehydrating dried sea mustard, use clean water and ensure it's fully rehydrated before use.
Avoid cross-contamination by using separate cutting boards and utensils for sea mustard and other foods, especially raw meats.
Do not consume sea mustard that has an off-odor, slimy texture, or mold.
