Store unopened squid ink in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat. Ensure packaging is intact.

Refrigerator

3-5 days (opened)

Once opened, store squid ink in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Follow manufacturer's instructions if available.

Freezer

3-6 months (for best quality)

Squid ink can be frozen for longer storage. Portion into ice cube trays or small freezer-safe containers. Thaw in the refrigerator before use.

Room Temperature Safety

40°F–140°F
