Safe Handling
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after handling fresh produce.
Wash strawberries gently under cool running water just before eating or preparing. Do not use soap or detergent.
Remove any bruised or moldy berries before storage or consumption to prevent spoilage of others.
Avoid cross-contamination by keeping fresh produce separate from raw meat, poultry, and seafood.
