Wasabi PasteShelf Life, Storage, and Spoilage Guide
Pantry
Unopened: Refer to 'Best by' date on packaging (typically 1-2 years). Opened: Unsafe.
Store unopened wasabi paste in a cool, dark pantry away from direct sunlight. Once opened, it must be refrigerated promptly.
Refrigerator
1-2 months after opening
Keep opened wasabi paste tightly sealed in its original container. Store in the main compartment of the refrigerator at 40°F (4°C) or below.

Safe indefinitely at 0°F (-18°C). Best quality within 6-8 months.
While safe, freezing may alter the texture and flavor of wasabi paste. Ensure the container is airtight to prevent freezer burn and odor absorption.

Do not consume wasabi paste that has been left at room temperature for an extended period.
