Fresh yuzu peel should not be stored at room temperature for extended periods. For dried yuzu peel, store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place for up to 1 year.
Refrigerator

Store fresh yuzu peel in an airtight container or sealed plastic bag to maintain freshness and prevent drying out. Do not wash until ready to use.
Freezer

Grate or zest the yuzu peel and spread it in a single layer on a baking sheet to freeze. Once frozen, transfer to an airtight freezer-safe bag or container. Label with the date.
